Every year, the most successful stars are honored at a glamorous gala and live TV broadcast. Since 1974, the Swiss Show Scene Association has awarded the Prix Walo every year. This prize is the most important award in Swiss show business — named after the legendary Radio Beromünster entertainment director and orchestra director Walo Linder — and is presented on the live program produced by Show Scene Switzerland.
